The Mike Peterson Foundation invites you to bowl with us for our 2nd Annual Pins & Pros Celebrity Fundraiser on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 300 Lanes in Chamblee, Ga. Mike Peterson, entering his 12th year in the National Football League, joined the Atlanta Falcons in 2009. He made an immediate impact embracing his new team city by supporting such initiatives as the AAG Foundation National Free Haircut Day for kids to receive free back to school haircuts, speaking at East Atlanta Kids Clubs, distributing 100 meals for families during the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays, and numerous Falcons’ Community Outreach.
Join Mike Peterson along with his Atlanta Falcons teammates and special guests Adrian Peterson (Chicago Bears), Rita Williams (retired WNBA/UCONN), Tony McDaniel (Miami Dolphins), Jeremy Mincey (Jacksonville Jaguars), Dexter Jackson (Super Bowl MVP, Tampa Buccaneers; Bengals, Cardinals), Terance Mathis (former All Pro Receiver, Atlanta Falcons) and more to be announced!

The Mike Peterson Foundation was formed to benefit underserved youth and socio-economically challenged families in his hometown of Alachua, FL and his NFL communities of Atlanta and Jacksonville. Peterson hopes to create a legacy by one day building a community center in the Alachua area just outside of Gainesville. Since its inception, the Mike Peterson Foundation has sponsored a number of community events including:
§ Free annual youth football camps in Jacksonville, Gainesville & Atlanta
§ Annual Thanksgiving food distribution to Alachua families
§ Back to school backpack distribution
§ Holiday gift parties in Alachua and Jacksonville
§ Game Day ticket programs for disadvantaged youth and families in Jacksonville and now Atlanta
